Should we just give up and accept religion...?

As we all know, science can be a slog. Pages of equations, hours in the labs, all the punch-socials we have to attend... When all our hard work its consistently criticized by those of faith and claimed to be lies, despite the mountains of evidence given... doesn't it make you want to give up and just submit to God and become something soulless.. like a pastor?
