Has the Codex Alimentarius banned labelling food as genetically modified?

In the United States, businesses are banned from labeling foods as genetically modified. During the last Codex Alimentarius meeting, the U.S. pushed to p a law saying that businesses shouldn't be aloud to label GMO food. Did they succeed? I can't seem to find an article showing whether this ped or not.
