Wizard101 pet help?!?

on wizard101 gizmo ( ice salamander ) is a teen. i remember making him a teen and not training with him anymore? what happened? i still equipped him...hope that helps! please i want to know what happend his experience was 80 OUT OF 200!!! how? i should be 1 threw ten experience out of 200!
