I am writing a paper on subcultures in the united states. what interesting subculture could I wright about?

I'm not sure if they are a "subculture", but how about little people (otherwise called dwarves and midgets)? Otherwise, how about Wiccans and other pagans (ask questions in Y!A religion & spirituality...they are there!). Maybe radical environmental or animal rights activists? Scientologists? Sounds like an interesting project.
