I need help on choosing a small dog breed like the french bulldog?

If you like French Bulldogs, but can't afford the price, look into Boston Terriers. They have a similar personality, are about the same size and are sturdy little things. They are also more common and therefore cheaper. Still buy from a reputable breeder and NOT a puppy store. Also you could try looking in animal shelters.
